The Center Began its existence in 1991 to provide an inexpensive, assesible and efficient residential recovery program for people having problems with alcohol and drugs. It was created by a group of committed professionals and rehabilated individuals who all are the members of a non government organization created to do community service. The center presents an unhospitalized, but confidence building approach towards the recovery program. It also provides recovering individuals a protected and caring atmosphere to study and recover.

The center aims to improve the standard of life of persons, families and communities affected by drug and alcohol related problems by providing them with a supportive and educational residential service programs which are affordable and produces good results. The faculty and staff at the center all work together to give recovering individuals the strength they need in a very helping and caring and supportive environment. They also have a very professional and qualified staff. The programs offered by the center are: 30 day retreat program, a residential program for a period of six months, a family program and Weekend retreats program.

The programs at the center are all based on the Teachings of well known Alcoholics Anonymous. The center also offers job opportunities for recovering individuals. There are separate residential quarters of male and female participants. Their family program is a very specialized program and offers its participants a recovery process and there family a better understanding to deal with the problem.
