The use of cocaine leads to permanent damage, addiction and death of the abuser. The effects are of two types i.e. the short term effect and the long term effect. If cocaine used once or twice the person have to face its short term effects shot term effects mainly damages the body like high blood pressure, dilated pupils, increased energy, increased heart rate etc or may cause death by cardiac arrest.
In long terms effect the death is sure. As it leads to major complications like heart attacks, respiratory failures, strokes etc the physical symptoms of cocaine addiction is convulsions, nausea, blurred vision, chest pain, fever and coma.
The other long term cocaine effects include addiction, irritability, restlessness, auditory hallucination, mood disturbances etc. After some time the tolerance for cocaine is developed in the body of addict and every time he increase the dose of drug to feel the same excitement as he felt first time but it never happens and this high dosage leads to addiction than death.
